As the company continues to grow, Blue Flame and the client have faced the challenge of hosting a growing number of employees in the bay area for the yearly event. In 2017, BF built a 23,000+ square foot tent in a public park. This 130’ x 180’ tent seated all 1,800 employees and served as a centralized location to host executive presentations and meetings. Outside areas of the park served as event space for the welcome and closing receptions while 7 additional venues were used as ancillary meeting locations.
Design & Build
The massive tent was a complete blank canvas for the design team to bring to life. Through the use of a stage set build and digital enhancements, the tent was transformed. The stage was 32’x16’ with a back wall including two 24’x14’ LED walls.
The event took place over three days and was activated in 7 other venues in addition to the pavilion. Guests were bussed between locations seamlessly and in a timely manner; no one was left on the side of the road.

“Just wanted to follow-up and reiterate our thanks for the amazing effort the past few months. You all are a pleasure to work with and we sincerely appreciate your flexibility, long days, last-minute sprints and all the crazy stuff you do to pull these things off. We don’t take it for granted and we recognize that we couldn’t have pulled off an event like this without you. It’s rare for a team outside your own to operate from the heart and be so relentless in executing your priorities without any hesitation – you are part of the family, not just a partner :).”
